Luciano Savini inherited his passion for truffles and the ability to find and extract these precious tubers from the earth from his father Zelindo, transforming, over time, Montanelli – the town where the Savini company is based – into a small town famous for its truffle enthusiasts. The history of the Savini company begins in the 1920s, when Zelindo discovered that his passion for walking through the woods led him to find excellent truffles. It was he who conveyed the art of research and the care for extracting truffles from the earth to his family.
Luciano’s shop can be found by scent. In addition to classic truffle recipes, there are many fragrant and tasty combinations inspired by Roman tradition, such as carbonara and gricia. There are also plenty of products to take to home, bringing that very precious aroma to your table.
